NASS6: Health Policy on the Line in Tomorrow’s Elections

Online elections info available through National Association of Spine Specialists (NASS6) Legislative Action Center

Tomorrow is election day. It is also your chance to help determine the future of health care policy at the state and federal levels. The candidates who emerge victorious in tomorrow’s races will be debating physician reimbursement, medical liability, health IT and pay for performance in the near future. Going to the polls and voting for candidates who support sound health care policy is the first step in ensuring your patients have access to the high-quality specialty care they require and that you will be fairly compensated for the services you provide. Please remember to vote!

Make sure you visit the elections portion of the NASS6 Legislative Action Center — learn more about the state and federal candidates running in your area and see how your elected officials have voted in the past on key health-related bills. This site can be accessed at http://capwiz.com/spine/e4/.

Don’t know where you are supposed to vote? No problem, this site can also help you find your polling location.

If you have questions about using the Legislative Action Center or want more information about NASS6 Advocacy, contact Nick Schilligo at spine.org.
