It's also worth remembering that the nerves heal from the RF ablation. If you don't have a plan to fix the area, you'll be back in the same position in 2-3 years, more or less, when the nerves shut...

I feel that this is overly simplistic bad advice. Surgery has risks and can make a problem worse or leave you in pain with no recourse. Obviously, because we're talking about getting surgery to fix...
