I would suggest getting more than 2 contacts for spinal surgery. There are many threads here from those who have had the surgery and their decission making process. You will probably notice which doctors names come up predomitally.
Since you brought up the price, one decission point for me, where I went quoted a full price, if there are complications and I had to stay longer I didn't have to pay more.
