Welcome. I'm sorry your circumstances have found you here.

I just posted a response to you on Old Codger's thread. So far, I have not received any responses from anyone on this board regarding my metal allergies on my threads. It is not a common problem for most. I hope the information I shared is beneficial to you. It is a frustrating problem to have because in my experience most the doctors I've seen about it offered no solutions. Several don't believe the results of the blood test. I did find an orthopedic knee surgeon that had some experience with metal allergies. I'm working with him because I have titanium screws in my knee that have been there for over 20 years. Since knees and hips have been replaced a whole lot more than discs, I think they have more knowledge about the issue. I'm going to have the test repeated by another company and also get an MRI of my knee. The x-ray showed nothing remarkable.

2006: epidural shots did nothing; 2 surgeons recommended 2 level fusion, I declined.
2007 - 2010 4 foraminotomy and cord decompression cervical surgeries and 2 endoscopic discectomy T7-T8 surgeries; total 6 with Dr. Jho (Pittsburgh,PA) My C6/C7 autofused around 2009.
2013 - 2015: epidurals 3 times (again did nothing) and 4 Radiofrequency ablation (or RFA) procedures.
2016 more RFAs, hit the 10 year mark of this insanity and pain, 3 level M6-C ADR with Dr. Clavel May 19, 2016
