Hard call because the Merom chips are coming soon which are faster but run hotter imo. Sony Viao offers very light notebooks but comes at a cost. Also, the smaller, the hotter they are (so much for laptop or having kids). I like Apple b/c it's customer service is excellent. They're refining a way to simultaneously run Windows with their OS Xx (= "Bootcamp").

I like the good mail order places for Windows machines b/c you can avoid paying instate taxes. Also they'll throw in goodies like extra ram, a case, etc.

Severe, extensive DDD, considered inoperable by Dr. Regan, Lauressen, & some guy at UCLA. Severe foraminal stenosis (guess they can't operate!) and some spinal cord compression that Lauryssen would fix if gets outta hand.
