I have got to believe that the overall stay would be 10 to 14 days. The thinking behind this is to do with the wound, and decompression, on board an aeroplane. When I was in Munich there was some Dutch people who had brought patients by caravan up to Munich, they started their journey home almost immediately the patient was out of hospital.


Mr Lam carries out surgery in a private hospital away from the state system for private patients (of which any people entering the country for surgery would be private patients).

I think you would have to do a bit of research for your hotel, I don't think he has any particular link with any particular hotel. Most hotels show their charges on the Web.

it would be good to contact Mr Lam should you feel you want to go to the UK for your surgery. He is an extremely competent surgeon, with an excellent reputation. His contact details are in the FAQs under UK surgeons that do ADR
