they catheter you when you are knocked out and i know for me it was removed in less 24hrs
and by the time it came to removal you hurt from all the other crap you dont even feel them remove it.

p/s the feeling you have to pee is the pits but passes pretty fast. and be black and blue down there also i was dumb founded
