I had something serious medically occur in CO yrs. ago and was seen at a Univ. of CO clinic - then back to CA for treatment. This may sound snobby but in terms of back surgery, I'd see the Best, no matter what imo.

Severe, extensive DDD, considered inoperable by Dr. Regan, Lauressen, & some guy at UCLA. Severe foraminal stenosis (guess they can't operate!) and some spinal cord compression that Lauryssen would fix if gets outta hand.
