Thank you everyone for your warm wishes! I actually have family in Germany & it was my grandmother who convinced my mother that there have been numerous ADR surgeries performed in Europe with excellent results. (My mother had been against it in the beginning.) It crossed my mind to vist Dr. B, but I don't feel right being a burden upon my grandmother and not being able to speak German would make it harder.

As for where I am with my procedure, I will be seeing my Ortho surgeon in 2 days. I will be discussing with him issues that I am having with my neck and will also ask him to schedule my Charite ADR surgery for sometime after June 22nd of this year. I am graduating from a certificate program in May & will continue my education towards earning my associates degree. My summer class should end on June 22nd. So hopefully, everything will go smoothly & hopefully the ugly head of the insurance company won't turn around & bite me in the you know where!
