I'm sorry to hear that you are in the same boat as I am with BC/BS. It took a lot for me to not yell at them on Friday asking where the heck they got off calling this surgery experimental.
My OS says that they are in breach of their contract by denying me medical coverage for this procedure but how can you fight a big insurance company like that?

Disc Bulge C4/C5, Disc Degeneration T11/T12, Bi-Lateral tears L5/S1, Diagnosed w/ Lumbar Disc Derangement w/ Radiculopaphy. Treatment: IDET, Percutaneous Discectomy, SI Joint Injection, Facet Block. All failed. Empire BC/BS Denied Coverage for ADR-lost all of my appeals. MVP also denied coverage.
