I have Medicare parts A & B and had a supplemental insurance coverage with AARP (United Health Care).
There was a policy I could have opted for that was supposed to include coverage outside of the States, but I am not certain if it was just for emergency care or would have included other.. something to check into if one has not.
I found Medicare and AARP supplemental policy to be very good at medical care coverage (at least the supplemental plan I chose).
