You are quite right, laid up doc.

It's so easy to think this miracle operation was going to change things over night.

It did change things... and overnight I had new limitations, and it's like learning to walk again, y'know? I'm having to learn the definition of "slow" and that's a challenge for me. I do feel better when I'm reading/replying to people here... it reminds me that I'm at a pretty "normal" stage of recovery for the most part.
