FutureRobot,

From what I researched and from my Ortho surgeon, they would not do any form of discectomy due to the tear and the annulus pulposus leakage. It has an almost 90% change of re-herniation. I do have nerve compression causing leg and back pain 24 hours a day.

Maybe it's time to get a 3rd opinion on more conservative forms of therapy.
