Thanks Jill, for posting this. I think the mortality index is interesting. I would love to see a similar benchmarking system for U.S. hospitals employing a "diagnostic index," that is, they would use a methodology that identifies the hospital ability to identify the problem, resolve the root cause and treat problem. It's OK to dream, right?!
I'll have to study the list, but it looks like few (if any) of these organizations have clinics that are offer joint diagnostics / repair centers. Maybe one of these caught your eye in terms of their TOS treatment capability? Dunno, just wondering. I think TOS is really specialized.
