Default New Fusion on ABC

For anyone interested in checking it out...
There was a piece on World News Tonight (ABC) about spine surgery. I was hoping it was on ADR; but from what I understood, it was a new way to do a fusion. They said they go in through the posterior (front), remove the center of the disc and then inject it with (not sure what it was called) some bone growth material. The disc then fuses (the time frame was not mentioned). The lady they showed, that did the surgery, did it as an outpatient surgery, was walking within hours and left 8 hours after arriving at the hospital. Anyway, I know nothing about this, and personally want ADR and not fusion; but thought this was interesting (and I was glad to see spine care highlighted on a major news broadcast ) You can read more and find more on spine care on their website, here is the link http://abcnews.go.com/Health/PainMan...6299490&page=1
