Oh, you're too young. I agree to find docs who aren't too "inbred". I don't know if your insurance can cover this but lots of people in WA come to LA to see some highly respected docs for opinions who know ADR and other means well. This is such a huge decision that I hope you can pull this off. But if you've made your mind up re: Germany, more power to you. I hope people will be more than forthcoming in sharing insurance information re: dealing with insurance companies. One start of course is Laurie Todd but I misplaced her book now; you can find her online and she might even email you. I'll try to find it.

Severe, extensive DDD, considered inoperable by Dr. Regan, Lauressen, & some guy at UCLA. Severe foraminal stenosis (guess they can't operate!) and some spinal cord compression that Lauryssen would fix if gets outta hand.
