Sometimes it takes awhile for the injury to catch up to you to increase the symptoms of pain and discomfort. I went one year after my accident with the dog before I found out how badly my shoulder was injured. I then had to have my clavicle repaired. I then waited another year before my back got so bad I had to start walking with a cane. I was hunched over like a little old man. I then had four level ADR surgery two years after the accident/injury took place.

Sometimes it is best to wait for the surgery to take place to see if the body will repair itself. Unless you are already at the point of no return. Only you can decide this.
