Hi, this is Kristi's mom, Konnie. We need your help too. She has exhausted her last appeal with UnitedHealthcare, and now the Dept. of Labor has suggested she write letters to her Superintent and to the school board members, since the school has no review committee.

We need letters like the ones you are sending to Kim from people who have had ADR. She and Kim have a lot in common: they both need two-level ADR, and they both go to doctors at TBI. While you are sending one to Kim, can you also send one our way? I don't have a set deadline, but would like to get the packets ready to mail in about a week. I also have one suggetion about the letters. Be concise; I think they will be more apt to read them. Don't be afraid to mention some part of the process that was more painful than expected. That is to be expected in any surgery.

If you are wondering why you hear from me a lot instead of Kristi, it is because she is a teacher and still working. While she is trying to keep up with her job and make it until the end of the school year, she has no time or energy left to fight the insurance battle.

Thanks to all on this website. It has been a real source of information and inspiration.

Do any of you remember the person who finally got his ADR and said maybe he got it because of all the publicity he had gotten? I need his or her help because I have not been successful in getting any publicity out there. I think the person lived in California, but I could be wrong.

Thanks again for all your help.
