I just sent some MRI films and copied reports to Dr. B's office in Bogen, Germany.

Anita recommended that I use USPS (which I did), and make sure to *NOT* insure the package for more than $20 (I went with $10).

Apparently, if you insure the package for > $20, then it costs $ to get it out of customs, which the Dr's office won't bother doing.

If you have a large enough post office, you will be able to find a sleeve/package that will work nicely for xrays/mris (which is what I did)

In terms of 'copies of films', I can't really answer that question. I actually sent the MRI films across the Atlantic. A slight risk, no doubt, but definitely worth the risk (I am presuming, that for a cost, one could go back to the place that performed the MRI for new films).
