Good article. Sad to say we've been applying that principle in detox for years to double whatever the patient tells us they are consuming. We err on the side of over medicating a little as withdrawals are so life threatening. We accomplish this by taking the normal protocol and lowering the threshold a little to ensure patients are not going in to seizures. It's normal human behavior to tell tall ones sometimes. Thanks for posting this.
