Val, is your hubbie invested in your process of finding a solution for your pain? What are you doing to get on the road to wellness? Hopefully he is sympathetic to your condition. It's hard for any couple to sort through these issues, and almost everyone here can relate to the sensitivity of the situation.

Yes, he is sympathetic to the condition, most of the time. I"m not in pain 24/7, so it's not the pain so much as hurting myself constantly when we do make love. He gets frustrated easily and then I feel guilty.

I guess this is as good as it's going to get. I"m not in pain, but I have to be extremely careful of how I move; my back is hypersensitive.Every so often, I throw my back out and then I"m home for a few days. I do the stretching exercises my spine dr and chiro want me to do. I recently had another epidural and it's helped alot.

Yah, I love both my spine dr (from Beth Isreal spine center) and my chiro.

Tons of MRI's . L4L5 and lots of arthritis in lower back, which makes me feel as if I have a rod up my butt. LOL

Sex is a very touchy subject for hubby and I.
Thanks for listening.
