Hi,
I have had surgery with Dr. Bierstedt in Germany. In general I would consider surgery as the very last resort. In no specific order, and I am not a doctor, try massage therapy, acupuncture, Prolotherapy, trigger point injections, rhizotomy, and get in to a pain clinic. Again, I'm not a doctor.
