Default Hello to all

I have been trolling for a few days, reading about ADR surgeries. I ruptured my L5S1 when I was 20 in 1990 and had a micro discectomy, I am 46 now.

I have been thinking about ADR for years, going to the Stenum hospital site and reading stories. The M6 looks like the best one out, but there is no way I can afford to get one, so, I will most likely look into the prodisc.

Even though I had the surgery and it took care of the nerve pain, it seems it was a trade off for a different pain.

My back is usually always sore, and when it hurts it feels like bruised bone pain, like when you hit your shin bone on something and feel it a few days later.

Every now and again, I lift something the wrong way, feel a pinch in my back, then after a few hours it starts to feel worse.

I did this 2 weeks ago, and has been one of the worst in a long time, unable to stand straight, so the muscles start spasms. Very hard to roll over in bed or get out of bed, let alone my Honda Civic.

On the worst day, I had to have my wife put my socks and underwear on.

I just wish I knew what actually happens when I " throw my back out"

Almost seems like bone on bone, or maybe auto fusion breaking

I haven't had an MRI for 25 years, so maybe I should start there. I'm just tired of the pain and ready to do something.

Thanks for listening
