Hello Dave! not sure about how the autofuse occurs but I am finding out it is much more common then people realize. Doctors say bone grew right passed the implant. they are experimenting with waxes and other substances in an effort to prevent this. Some surgeons are waitng for more info before proceeding with disc replacement surgery!
