It is nice getting to the "root" of problems. 
Think there's conflicting evidence if the goop in the disc can cause scar tissue or not; w/research later if have time.
LA seems the place to be for spinal problems.

Severe, extensive DDD, considered inoperable by Dr. Regan, Lauressen, & some guy at UCLA. Severe foraminal stenosis (guess they can't operate!) and some spinal cord compression that Lauryssen would fix if gets outta hand.
