I'm almost 6 months post-op and my 3 level with Dr. B plus a discogram and a 9 day hospital stay cost 37000 Euro, about $45,000. With business class airfare, hotels, food and Mark ******* from *** accompanying my husband and me, the total was a little more than $60,000. I also asked for a private room so my husband could stay with me and the extra cost is included in the 37000 Euro. If memory serves, I think this was about 80 Euros extra per day for 5 days.
The total cost goes down with coach airfare and without Mark. I felt both were worth the extra cost. The hotels and food are relatively inexpensive compared to what we expect in the US and were the least expensive part of the cost.
