Default Instability Issues ???

Hey all,
I hope someone out there has been through what I've been through.

Long story short.
Me:
46 year old male, 155 lbs pretty healthy, fit, active, surfing, fishing etc

December 2014 - Car accident whiplash

January 2015 started feeling intense pain - Discovered bulge C6/7 -

My feet and hands go numb when I look down - was told this was an unknown problem by the two Dr's at Penn Medicine.

February 2015 to August 2015 FAILED all therapies. PT, chiro, massage, accupuncture, Osteopathy...

New diagnosis from Upright MRI - Instability at C6 - backwards 5mm in forward flexion. Spinal cord compression - Hence the feet going numb.

Only 1 out of 6 doctors see the instability. UCLA Spine, Cedars Sinai...good doctors with lots of training can't see the problem.

PROBLEM: What do to about ACDR? I've been told to fuse due to instability but almost all docs can't see the instability.

Any advice?

Cheers,
Tom
