Sorry, this question is pretty basic, but living overseas for as long as I have has put me out of touch with a lot of 'THE SYSTEM' back home. i think I would be just as lost moving back tomorrow as I was arriving here

I read--or interpreted-- in a recent post that federal employees are normally covered for FDA-approved procedures. Yet many people have posted about difficulties in getting their insurance providers to cover ADR.

Can someone explain on what basis ADR coverage is/has been granted or denied when not a federal employee?
