I think most of my problem are the rotten discs as I can almost never sit for anything and I just got a transforaminal ESI at L4-5 on Thurs and today when hub was driving me home from San Diego I sat nearly the whole way, plus nearly an hour at our Vet's and now at home at the computer again I'm sitting with no pain..

Maybe I'm wrong.. but I have gotten pretty good relief even if it's not going to be lasting (which we know it won't)... it still feels sooo good!

That's great you get such good relief and quickly. Sitting for 2-3 hours in a day! Enjoy while it lasts and maybe it will last for a long time.

Actually, remember the thing called "delayed pain".. well, I got a real good dose of it last night which felt like a nerve was being squished and sent stabbing pains in the left hip and sciatic area.. man, was this pain nasty!!!

It lasted my waking hours last night, woke up with back pain and this gnawing stabbing pain that was relieved when I was up a bit and walking but just made me practically chomp at the bit...

So much for sitting long periods, ESI relief or not~ thankfully this pain has abated for a bit tho I doubt it's gone, probably just lying low until I do something stupid like sit that long again because "the pain is masked steroidly"...
