I have herniated c5/6. At night when I'm lying down to go to sleep and relaxed, if I'm lying on my back my head will twitch to the side every once in a while and if lying on my side it will twitch backward. Does anybody else get this?

My arm twitches like that & I have a disc bulge at C-4/C-5 w/ radiculopathy. Almost sounds like a ticked off nerve. Wish I could be of more help to you.

Hi! I have noticed the exact same thing. I have a herniated c4 bulging with compression/narrowing c5 with annular tears all the way around disc c6,c7.
My understanding is the nerve is being compressed.
