I attended a Star Wars themed party. My youngsters and I went as the royal family from Elementia - planet of the Four Elements. I was the Queen of Fire $ Ice. My long blue hair matched well with my silver, daggerlike fingernails, contrasted by my formal red ballgown. I think I'm enough of a character normally that I won't need to dress up tomorrow.

Ok, I've decided my costume is lame -- what's the point of having a great back if you can't participate in all the great things in life with full enthusiasm?!

So, off to Wal*Mart to find something...hopefully I can get creative!

Thanks for your great attitude today Alastair, its contagious!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!! SG

Way to go Senecagirl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We all need to keep a sense of humor when we live in a world of pain. Laughing increases the endorphins a natural painkiller so I encourage everyone to get their costume together.

The funniest one I saw this weekend was a girl dress in a "Brick House"...........and we all danced "She's.....A....Brick...House".

Any other good ideas out there?

Happy Halloween

a friend and I and our mini schnauzers participated in in a Howl'oween Dog Parade yesterday.. Lola and I were two oranged haired witches, she had curly orange hair under her black decorative hat, I had straight orange hair under my black hat with orange bats.

My friend's dog really got attention as Puff was dressed as a Cow, in a stoller with milk cartons attached to it.. so Puff the Cow Dog ~ Got Milk got much attention...

It was a warm today and there was a big turnout.. a projected 450 people there and I'm sure that most were sitting alongside the sidewalk as we paraded by... what a blast!!! So many interesting dog costumes~ kids and owners were having fun as was evident by all the commotion~

And hopefully the rescue teams there adopting out dogs did better than well, hopefully a few got a home out of this doggie Howl'oween extravaganza~

BTW, I was walking with a theracare attached to my low back.. after 3 hours of standing/walking and mingling, my back felt ready to lie down.. so home we came...

Hope all have a good Halloween and less pain~

I'm going as the invisible woman. That's because nobody will notice me, attached as I'll be to 2 Great Danes, a white one dressed in gauzy white angel wings (tho' he actually looks more like Pegasus), and the black one in ladybug garb. We're handing out treats as we go, since the little kids get scared by dogs barking at the door, but they love the Danes while they're out.

Happy Trick or Treating!

Well in years past, I have gone as a paper bag of groceries, bag of M&M's. My hubby and I have gone as him a plummer & me as a Shower, him-smurf me-smurfette, him-Oreo Cookie me-Glass of Milk. We made all of these ourselves. We have won a few prizes with these costumes. We even made smaller versions of the bag of M&M's and the bag of groceries for my daughter. Happy Halloween All!
