I have to get/send all my info/diagnosis/reports to a few doctors here and abroad to see if ADR is a possibility.
I have kept everything since day one back in 1997. I have all my reports, x-rays,MRI's, etc.. Paper is easy to copy. How does one go about getting the copies of films to doctors? Thanks Ken

i sent mine usps global express but it was a cd.

I just sent some MRI films and copied reports to Dr. B's office in Bogen, Germany.
Anita recommended that I use USPS (which I did), and make sure to *NOT* insure the package for more than $20 (I went with $10). Apparently, if you insure the package for > $20, then it costs $ to get it out of customs, which the Dr's office won't bother doing. If you have a large enough post office, you will be able to find a sleeve/package that will work nicely for xrays/mris (which is what I did) In terms of 'copies of films', I can't really answer that question. I actually sent the MRI films across the Atlantic. A slight risk, no doubt, but definitely worth the risk (I am presuming, that for a cost, one could go back to the place that performed the MRI for new films). David

If I have films over the years and want to send a complete package to show history, is there a way to get them on CD? Or is it only the newest films that matter?

I think it depends upon the particular doctor, whether or not they want a film history, or just the most recent films.
If I had to choose, I would say the most recent films are the most relevant. Now, that being said, I am pretty sure that some of the better films shops can take xrays / mri films and transpose them / burn them to cd for you (I had a couple films done like this a year or so ago, I believe at a local Cord Photo)
