Default Flight Timing

For those doing multi-level lumbar and worried about staying only a week (and flying out five days post-op) and worried about the cost of the extra nights in the hotel, you might want to check your flight options for a few days later than your seven day stay.

It turns out it is actually cheaper for us to stay in Barcelona an extra two days! It's almost $800 more in plane tickets if we fly out after a week, than if we stay for a total of nine days! AND, since we'll only be spending $250/night for the hotel, the choice is obvious!

Just a little tip for those who are traveling!

Before surgery: severe spinal stenosis C5/C6 (cord "flattened" per stateside doc), + for Hoffman's & Babinsky's.
At time of surgery: 5 yrs MAX before ending up in wheelchair.
Clavel found L5-S1 partially fused. Had to cut it apart to put in M6.
Please excuse brevity - SEVERE carpel tunnel.
