Hi. I'm new to this forum but definately not to the misery of dealing with spine pain and hell of trying to get the right treatment. I was willing to do anything legal to not have fusion.
After tons of research, I decided on SPinal Kinetics' M6-C discs for me. Initially I was going to go to the infamous hospital in Germany. Between their price and "stuff" I started hearing, I opted to look for other surgeons. I ended up with the most awesome, experienced, compansionate surgeon you can imagine ... coincidentally at half the price. I can't tell how how awesome the care was; it was like going to a boutique care but will all the latest technology available. My UK surgeon and my US neurosurgeon (who was part of another brand's pre-approval trial) worked togather beautifully. My message is, Germany is NOT the only destination for spine ADR. |

Who is the UK surgeon, what facility, and how much did it costs? You had a 2 level using M6? Which levels?

Marti,
From the tone of your post it sounds like you've had a very good outcome. Congratulations and ... ![]() I assume that you saw Dr Boeree? I've heard nothing but glowing reports about him. IN fact there is another poster on this site that had a double ADR with him this summer. He can't post right now because he's in Asia mountain climbing in the Himalayas. With the huge volume of patients on which they operate, Stenum is bound to have some bad experiences. But like you I didn't go there either. I had a double M6 ADR with Dr Pablo Clavel of the Barcelona Spine Center in Spain ($27533). So far I've had an excellent outcome also. Next month I'll run my second post-surgical marathon. Here's hoping that our respective good outcomes hold up! Jeff
