Discover Cervical Disc
Here's the Broshure for the Discover artificial cervical disc its not currently approved by the FDA for use in the US but it is going through FDA trials. I couldn't find anything online and even contacted Depuy but becuase they are currently in trials they couldn't send me this. My doc in Malaysia got it for me. Hope it helps
 Fall from ladder april 05 DDD lots of pain and lots of test C5,6,7 doctors recomend fusion, I followed with desire for TDR needing two level forced to go out of US Scheduled for two level TDR in Malaysia March 09 using Discover disc.

DuPuy (JNJ) HIP implant troubles
This is from the UK Daily Mail so take it with two grains of salt
1) The Daily Mail can print iffy stuff on slow news days 2) They may be bashing a US supplier to favor a home grown company (but they occasionally print stuff months 'before its news') I note this refers to their HIP implants. Still, anyone with one may be questioned about this and may want to be aware. Toxic metal hip implants 'could affect thousands more people than PIP breast scandal'

3/2002 L5-S1 microdiscectomy- went well  1/2012 C6,7 arthritic, ADR recommended  BCBS will cover  UPDATE: No doc since the first surgeon has recommended an ADR. It now looks like I am up for another microdiscectomy / foraminotomy  I'm certain I am not the last for such a diagnosis change so we can all still learn from each others experiences!
