Default How to send Xrays to Dr Clavel

When I originally sent my MRI's to Dr Clavel I used a service called "DropBox". However I would rather send these files like everyone else does by sending them directly to Dr Clavel via their own protocols. However the instructions I have received don't work.

Could someone please instruct me how to send the data that is on the CD I have to Dr Clavel? When I open the disc up what files hold the data that he requires etc?

It may because I have been a lifetime Apple user that impedes me "getting" this.

I just copied all the files from the CD (everything including executables) into a directory and zipped it. Then I put the zip file in a file sharing service (similar to dropbox) and sent a link to Yolanda.

If you have dropbox and you are on a mac, zip all the files together from the CD into a single file then put it into your 'public' directory under dropbox. In Finder right click on the zip file and then click "Dropbox->Copy Public Link" then paste the result into an email and send it to Yolanda. You could also send the files one by one using the same method without zipping them. That's how I sent my X-Rays.

Im on a mac and tried to use dropbox. I couldn't get it to work. What I ended up doing was just emailing them a link to the image folders. It worked.

Enclosed is a captured screen shot of the contents of disc of my latest X-ray. Could someone tell me which items I should include in a zip file to send Dr Clavel? Thanks for the help.

That image is way too tiny for me to read, but essentially your want to send him all .jpg or all dicom files which may have a .dcm extension or something similar.

Sorry about that Jeff, not sure why the image came out so small. I dont see any jpg files on my disk. However what about "stack" files that are included?
Thanks again Jim

Don't know what stack files are - did you find the DICOM files? This should be all you need.

I tried clavels website and it ultimately cost me a month of time forcing me to rush my plans once Clavel got them. I used Dropbox and sent him a link for hi to use. From the day I sent the link to the date I arrived in Barcelona was 8 days. I suggest Dropbox. Good luck.

Default Sounds like more trouble than it's worth

Rather than spending time trying to get films in a "dropbox" I recommend Global Priority Mail from the U.S. Postal Service. It costs around $20.00 and will get to Spain in about 4 days from most places in the U.S. Yes, you will have to fill out a customs form, but that should take less than 5 minutes. I did this when sending my CD to Dr. Bierstedt in Germany and Mr. Dare in the U.K.
