Synthes the ProDisc manufacture contacted me this week. I will be working with them on a documentary to share with the insurance companies on what life can be like after a one level ProDisc surgery.

They will be coming up in the next month to film me doing my favorite activities mountain biking, road biking, hiking and skiing well they will have to use footage from last year for the skiing or wait until November. They also want to see the ladder I feel off. I hope I don’t have to react the fall.

I expressed to the rep from Synthes that I would to anything I could to help others in the patient community get their life’s back and if sharing my story with insurance companies will help then I am all for it. I feel very blessed to have this second chance to live life again and help others in the process.

I’ll keep you posted.
