Exclamation Prayers needed!

One of our own is in Barcelona right now, and in dire need of prayers. I notice this person has not posted in the recovery section, nor are they one to post a lot. I don't have permission, so I will not be naming names, but we are such a tight-knit community, I figured I should say something.

I know I haven't been able to be on here much since my own surgery, but this is super important.

This person is going in for a THIRD surgery tomorrow. Dr. Clavel has done nothing wrong, but there is something going on in there causing our fellow in arms (or spine ) some dire pain, and they cannot figure it out.

I hope this person doesn't get mad at me for posting, but at this point, this totally non-religious, atheist person (me) has been actually PRAYING, and so I thought the more prayers the better.

Like I said, I cannot divulge any identifying information, but I figure if everyone focuses on "the American" Dr. Clavel is operating on tomorrow for the third time, that ought to be enough to focus (God's) energy on this person.

Like I said, I am not religious. I do not pray. But praying I have been ever since I found out.

Studies have been done that confirm the power of prayer works, so PLEASE, pray for this person! Have your prayer circles pray for this person. As your congregation to pray for this person. Call your mom or your grandma and get THEM to call THEIR prayer groups!

This is huge. We really need the whole spinal community coming together on this one!

Feel free to share with any and every prayer group you know/can think of. EVERY one.

Let's get this person HEALED!!!!

Exclamation

Very nice of you to advocate for this person on a spiritual level. I do believe in prayer, it helped me surmount and conquer two disabilities! I'll offer a special prayer tonight for our friend. Peace and good health to you, too, Bebe.

Thank you Rich!

It is breaking my heart to watch this person go through this.

I am not religious at all, but when I read this person's email (I keep throwing this person's gender in, then having to erase it, grrr), I just sat for a minute and imagined myself in Cathedral de Barcelona (the one in the Gothic Quarter that brought me to tears my first night in Barcelona) and envisioned myself praying in the little prayer room off to the side (the one they do not allow any cameras in) and praying for her in that space.

They are nine hours ahead of us, which means it is almost 6:30 in the morning there now. I don't know what time surgery is, so it could happen any minute now, to even twelve hours from now, I don't know for sure. It had something to do with what times the OR is available to Dr. Clavel.

No matter what time you read this fellow ADR Support Member, please, please, PLEASE send a prayer. Like I said, I don't pray. But I haven never before been so moved to pray for a person.

Oh, and please repost this prayer request to fb, twitter, whatever social media sites you use. The more people we have praying, the better.

Oh my!!! I can't immagine how frightened they must be!!! I would be a wreck having a third surgery, away from my home and family, and in a strange country too!

Dr. Clavel has no idea what's going wrong, either? Wow!! I hope he can figure out how to help her and get her back on her feet.

She has my prayers for sure!!

Thank you everyone.

I am still waiting to hear back. I am hoping this means this person is asleep and resting.

Oh dear, that's terrible news. I will be sending good karma & saying prayers. Hopefully Dr. C and the amazing doctors there will get this issue resolved quickly and our fellow American can return home soon.
