WC authorized discogram so this would be my 3rd to date. Last one in 2003. Hopefully there's nothing new, and it will create nothing new.
To be followed by an ESI so I can have some comfort for a while this summer as well as get some necessary stuff done that gets neglected when one is down every few days resting painful parts..
Wish me luck!??

Wow, Mariaa -- your journey is one of great patience and perseverance. I hope the ESI helps and good luck! Perhaps this procedure will provide some diagnostic insights too?

Thank you Harrison and Andrea~
This was the most comfortable and least unnecessarily painful discogram I've had to date. I was more sedated this time but certainly felt L4/5 and L5S1 very much.. L3/4 was OK and PM said the tear is radial, Grade 1, it's disrupted but was not concordant for pain.

The ESI was done so quickly that I hardly realized it was being done.

Must rest now because I was made very comfortable by excellent anesthesiologist and PM however, still feeling some pain, tad dizzy when up too much and just overall like I should be resting w/ice pack to area so back to reclining and a bit of TV~

Now maybe finally I can move forward sometime after this ...thanks again~

Maria,

Maybe you should change your screen name to the pincushion. Glad L3-4 was not a pain generator. I will keep you in my prayers that you recover from these sticks quickly. Thanks for praying for Cody.

Pincushion reporting in~
feeling oh so much better! This steroidal boost is exactly what I needed to be able to get some things done around here~ I was dragging so badly for months now!!

So my bad discs are bad but the irritation is very quieted by the ESIs~ thankfully~ for this I don't mind being a pincushion! Even such good temporary relief is highly welcome!
