Bugger!!!
We only get BBC world news not ABC world news down here in Oz. Will have to get what I can off their website. It's very exciting. I'm very interested in seeing what this Trendelenburg (sp?)position looks like where you are tipped down at the head for the surgery. Has your doctor mentioned he does this? Is it standard? Anyone Know?

Tricia,

I'm sure you did great and I hope someone will take pity on me and tape a copry of the show so I can see it later on.

Wishing you all the best and looking forward to following your recovery soon!

Good show Tricia. Had hoped it would be a longer segment, but it was informative. Great to see you smiling..............and dancing a little !!! Dr. Bitan seems like a very compassionate doctor. Will you be on the other 2 nights or not? I set the digital recorder thing to record the next two nights in case I forget about it. That is if I have the recorder thing figured out......never used it before. Best wishes to you for a full and speedy recovery !!!!!

Just saw Jeff's post with the World Newser link saying that tonight was the only night on ADR. Tomorrow night is on discetomy and fusion; and the third night is how to avoid surgery.

Nice job on your "segment"

My parents and grandfather watched it, and had a bunch more questions to ask me.... but I think it definitely helped solidfy in their minds the "necesity" (not the word I am really looking for) of this surgery in many cases.

Hopefully, your recovery will go as well as your "dancing" showed!

Thanks guys... it was such a big news night they cut the segment.... oh well... their putting Fusion and discetomy in one segment, so at least ADR got it's own!

Tim Johnson called me today and asked me to appear on Good Morning America on Thursday as well so they will air more of it then.

The interview lasted 1 hour so I was suprised at how short it was.... I'm glad they showed my dance though! LOL Most of my family and friends haven't seen me since the surgery as I'm still recovering in NY so they were thrilled to see the "old" Tricia.
