Alastair,
You had SOOOO much excellent information that you had posted on that other (transient) forum.

IMHO and, to quote Mrs. Betty Slocum , I am unanimous in that you should copy lots of it and paste it in this forum.

After all, they ARE your words. Get them before they get archived/deleted.

Just my 2 cents, FWIW.
Tony

Interesting story Alastair. Glad you gave your sage advice at the other forum and I agree with what has been said above re copy and pasting your own words to this site. Hopefully that should cause no problem ~ tho considering the odd circumstances of banning, one would wonder.

I've read the thread on the other site and I can't understand how mean people can be!! I didn't justify it with a reply and I wouldn't give it a second thought!

Alastair,
You have been a true help and a gentleman during a difficult time. Thank you for your generiosity of spirit.

I hope some day you will come to Vermont and shoot the big guns with us. I can't match your world acclaimed accuracy, but (not to brag) we have MUCH bigger guns in Vermont than you Brits keep under your night tables.

Hi GD,
yes at the moment we have handguns banned in the UK so it's all air pistol work at the moment. We are still using rifles though

If you've got a desert Eagle in 357 -- -- -- I'll be along, it was one of the last handguns that I shot with factory loads single-handed.

My favourite handgun was always the H&K P9S. in 45 calibre. An old special services weapon.
Best,
Alastair
