I have a question that I hope some of you can answer. My insurance is currently Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield through my employer. My husband has Aetna through his employer, but only for himself. If he adds me to his insurance during the next open enrollment period and I still keep my BCBS, will the secondary Aetna insurance pick up any or all of the cost of ADR if BCBS denies coverage?

If I drop BCBS and just have Aetna, will it create any coverage issues because of my pre-existing DDD condition? Overall, my BCBS plan seems to have better coverage and lower out of pocket expenses, but it just doesn't want to pay for ADR surgery.
