annec,

When people say Dr "B" they are usually referring to Dr Bertagnoli, German prodisc doc. I live at Lake Tahoe and have seen Dr Bray and Regan in LA. Not scheduled yet but maybe we can share a place on the beach to recover in.

Sorry Anne, I didn't have enough space in my signature to spell out Dr. Bertagnoli in my signature and still put in my poem.

Dr. Bertagnoli is also known as Dr. B, as you will often see on this site and the Back Pain Support Group website too. He does multi-level ADR (pro-disc) in Germany. I was referred to him by Dr. Yue at Yale in New Haven, CT.

Thanks, Julie. How much is your total cost going to be?

Annec,

I am also 53 years old. I had a hysterectomy, tubal reversal surgery, and several laparascopic surgeries prior to my 2 level lumbar in 2002. It wasn't an issue. I'm doing great. I just had another 2 level cervical done in January. I'm doing great with those, too. Best wishes!

caused problem at L3/4 and L2/3
01-05 - ProDiscs at C5/6 and C6/7 in Germany - seems to be working fine so far
Bedbound from 09-06 until 10-08 due to severe pain and weakness
09-08 - Had Fibrin sealant done at L3/4 and L2/3 After 6 weeks - much success!
Hoping and praying that the lumbar revision surgery that was scheduled with Dr. Regan
can be indefinitely postponed

Anne,

I am 33 and yes I am very excited. My doc's name is Dr. Schwaegler. His phone number is 206-323-1900 and you want to ask for Eileen if you are interested. You could use your brothers address if you are interested in the study.

Yes, there is going to be a different surgeon who will be opening me up and moving ALL my organs so that my doc can do the ADR. It's right around the corner. Getting really nervous but know that I am in good hands. I faithfully put my life in my docs hands and know that everything will be fine. He is totally amazing!

I thank all of you so much--Harrison, Allan, Nichole, Julie, Paulette & Linda--for your feedback, suggestions, and your encouragement. I am feeling much more positive about my options for ADR now! As you all know, it helps immeasurably to have your support.
Nichole--I will definitely call your doctor.
Linda--who did your surgery?
Paulette--who will be doing your surgery?
Best of luck to you, Nichole and Julie--I'll be sending positive thoughts your way.
Anne
