Default Cost

I had my 2 week post op today and I saw what they had billed for my trial. The wording said Insurance but I am in a trial so I do not think they actually will bill it to my insurance. So the amount $46,864 just for the surgery itself with hospital stay I am guessing. I do not think that included the anesthesia costs or EMG during sx... just a number.. Not sure if it will help.

Wishing you luck! I know I was very fortunate to find a trial, I hope you can find something that works for you.

Matt,

Did you get the cost of $6500 for the Prodisc directly from a Synthes rep. or thru the hospital?

I am being scheduled for ADR surgery in the states and will be paying out of pocket as well. But will file insurance appeal.
