well i was wondering now that prodisc has been approved if anyone has recieved surgery approval from Blue Crap. as we are still adding up all the cost for the trip to germany and will be submitting
the bill to them as my plan {if you want to call it a plan} is ppo it sure would be nice to get some money back. chuck

I guess it is possible, although I would doubt it.
I base this on the fact that Dr. Y recommended that I wait two months before trying to get a pre-auth (pre-denial) for Prodisc surgery. [that being said hopefully someone will prove me wrong here in the near future!  ]David

I spoke to an "insider" re: NY BC/BS and he was not optimistic about them paying for an ADR - although they did about three years ago.

Severe, extensive DDD, considered inoperable by Dr. Regan, Lauressen, & some guy at UCLA. Severe foraminal stenosis (guess they can't operate!) and some spinal cord compression that Lauryssen would fix if gets outta hand.
