Default Doctors r not special

Listen you just had surgery, your gonna be just fine! Give it time. As for that cold hearted doctor. Let the Lord pay him back lol. Don't waist your energy with negativity. Just project healing thoughts. It's only been a few months n your nerve pain is lessen, so hopefully this inconsiderate doctor at least placed the discs in correctly! I'm not aware of the side effects your talking about but sounds like you will heal with time. Just relax n listen to music that makes you happy.

I would think the lessening of nerve pain is a major hallmark use your energy to project a complete healing. Write that bozo a letter if you can't put him out of your mind. These professional most of them don't feel our pain. My own family doesn't feel my pain. I have been sitting in a recliner for three years watching my entire family go on with their happy life's. The only time they are sad is when I don't have money to give them to go out or get wings!

I finally came to my end n booked surgery despite my phobia of flying! I don't care if I live anymore if it's gonna be in pain! I'll give it two years to heal n if it's still bad then I'll look for a tall tower to site see from.

Don't worry I can feel your a good person n healing is coming your way. Call me nuts but it's true.

Sincerely

Gabriel

Default ADR Specialist

Anyone aware of adr specialist that may be willing to look at another surgeon’s work. I am having increased neck pain and have just found out that Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia is not the experts on ADR that was implied to me initially. I am willing to go anywhere even if it is paying privately to have a surgeon who is an expert at adr look at my records to see if I can be helped. My only request is they are in the USA. As traveling outside of the country would not be possible. Thanks in advance. Anyone, who wishes too pm would be appreciated. Thanks 

Jeff McConnell in Allentown does Prodisc C and secure C. He may or may not be an expert but he is close enough to you to perhaps be worth a visit. James Yue at Yale in New Haven CT is just a train ride away, and I know he is often very critical of other surgeons work, so you might get an honest opinion. He is prodisc guy. How is your voice/swallowing issue?

Voice is slightly better but breath and swallowing is the same. I am still going to vocal therapy wkly and I am schedule 10/25 to have thyroid surgrey. It is on the right side so I am scared but met wit Dr. Fraker at Penn and felt really good with him. I just can't get over how bad of an experience I had at Jeff. I need a Dr. that is not afraid to look at another dr's work to be willing to look and see what went wrong and why I still have neck pain. The only positive is the nerve pain is gone

I'm so sorry you are still struggling so much. Doctor Light in San Francisco is the only one I know of that has a reputation of fixing other surgeon's mistakes here in the U.S. He's expensive so, your insurance would have to cover him. I know of someone else that traveled to see him. However, I don't know if it's possible to remove a Prodisc because of the keel design.

I hope in time you start feeling better! Sometimes, the healing takes time and more than the 8 weeks that we read of so much on the surgeon's websites. I'm giving myself a year. It's been 3 1/2 months for me and things are still shifting and changing. I'm still using the Primrose oil and hoping in time it will help with the vocal cord issues. I had them prior to my ADR surgery and were most likely caused by my other 4 cervical surgeries. Stay positive!

Thank you everyone for the support. I will look into each of the drs and see what I can find out. I need a second option, if only to ease my mind at this point. I did so much research and I am still baffled that the surgeon was dishonest with me. I think his ego was so inflated and he dazzled me with the hardware etc.
In a positive note I purchased an Acid Reflux Wedge Pillow (32"x30"x7") with Memory Foam Overlay and Removable Microfiber Cover "BIG" by Medslant and I think it is helping slightly with some of the reflux. I had purchased a knock off which did not help. The other thing that is really helping as is music which I now listen and meditate almost every evening.
I have added the discussed supplements and will continue them until I have the thyroid surgery and then the fun begins all over again. The funny thing in the beginning I was so vain worried about a small scar now I will have a scar across my whole neck and just praying that I don’t need a trach. My life has changed so drastically in such a short time.
