Hi

If anyone who is interested and I have been asked this question many times, the cost of the above precedure was just under $48,000 Aus dollars prior Jan.2006 including all fees.

Thanks Bob, that works out to app. $37, 272 in U.S. dollars, which seems quite reasonable. Maybe that's why people are asking you?! I used this site for the conversion: http://www.x-rates.com/calculator.html

Just a reminder to pre-ADR folks that there are many differences between countries in terms of how medical devices are used; here are just a few obvious ones:

- doctors training
- device availability (some are only available overseas, and visa versa)
- clinical trials
- qual & disqualifications of patients (many differences)

Thats about £19,000 which is a bit pricey for the UK
