well i still have not had my surgery. mainly due to the fact of money and that the insurance co. involved w/ my case still will not settle. as i had stated in another post i found dr. michael schiffman through a medical aquisition co. and he is willing to do my 2 level prodisc on a lean against.
sounds good doesn't it.
exept for the fact that i spoke with a friend who is a dr. yesterday and asked her to ask some of her colleagues about schiffman and the response that i got from her was not so good. she said the other orthos reactions about schiffman ranged from rolling their eyes to " don't let him touch you." so now i'm back to limbo.
i'd much rather go to dr. delamarter but i don't have insurance and he will not do the surgery on a lean.
any suggestions?
thanks

One suggestion: Sometime after your surgery, you're going to go through a bout of increased pain, even if the surgery is a complete and total sucess. Imagine yourself in that position now and think about what your thoughts would be. If they're "I can't believe I was stupid enough to have Schiffman do my surgery" you have your answer.
