I would like any information on getting approval from BC/BS Federal with secondary coverage with TriCare. Will have 2 level ADR with some fusion to correct scoliosis curve. Any information or contact information would be appriciated. Thanks

One thought is, if you are also having a fusion which they will pay can you get the disc billed out separately and only pay for the discs and let the insurance company pay for the surgery. I did just that and actually had to go through the appeals process, it took a year but I have finally received payment for everything but the discs. It is much better than waiting around for approval or just waiting around suffering in pain.
Just a thought.

Ms Em,

I have BCBS FEP (Standard Option/PPO). Will you be having surgery in the USA or elsewhere?

Will probably need at least 2 ADR's and fusion in the lumbar region and it will probably be in Europe.
Were you able to get BC/BS Federal to cover any of the procedure?
