I do believe with the nickel per.... everyone that needed ADR could have it paid for for free....

Great News!!! I just spoke to Dr. Bitan. Although he is 100% on board and is ready to host a *** event much like my past events, we are going to table the Bitan event so we may focus on something BIGGER!

Circle Sunday May 1st on your calendar! The event will be in New York. This will be what I've been hoping for... a true Spine Patient Technology Conference. The program will be something like:

This is great news Mark. I will be attending for sure and look forward to meeting the rest of the community!

For what it's worth, I'll be coming in on Saturday. If anyone wants to get together for dinner (and can sit OK!), pls email me in the next 30 days, and I'll arrange reasonably affordable dinner reservations.

Thanks and looking forward to meeting all of you.

May first it is! Just checking to see who's awake!

This is the downside of being off the meds and out of pain. When I make a mistake like this... it's just me!!! Nothing to blame it on!

Edited top post.... plans have changed

OK folks, this is going to happen.

Confirmed speakers:

Dr. Rudolph Bertagnoli (will chair event)
Dr. Willem Zeegers (will give 15 year retrospective of ADR)
Dr. Anthony Yeung (in addition to SED, will present some incredible new technology.)
Dr. Fabien Bitan (Principal investigator, Charite' and Dynesys)
Dr. James Yue (in addition to ProDisc, will present some incredible new technology.)

Joe Vest (MGH BigJoe... if you don't know his story, bring some kleenex... get ready to laugh your A$$ off, and cry too)

We are going to have a full program, all day Sunday, May 1st, in NEW YORK CITY. There will be a cocktail reception on Saturday night. Breakfast will be served on Sunday morning before the proceedings start. Lunch will be served Sunday afternoon.

I've got more surprises, but they are not confirmed yet.

How do I need your help? I need to know what YOU want to see. I want this to be a general spine meeting... obviously ADR is a big part of it, but this I want to cover as much as possible, without cutting any topics presented too short. I won't be able to cover everything, but it is clear... what I do cover will be represented by the best in the business. There will be some tough decisions made about what to include and what to leave out... so let me know...

What do you want to see?

So circle May 1st on your calendar. I'm working on a venue now... hopefully, I'll get it nailed down soon.

I'll keep everyone posted as I learn details. But, this is a GO. With the support I already have, I know that this is going to be an incredible event.

I'll see you in New York.

Mark

Can't wait to see you all. Mark, anything setup as to where it will take place so I can look for place to stay for my wife and I.

Thanks.

As for what I want to hear and see. I would like to hear what the future holds for back surgery. What is next with regard to disc replacement, cell research etc.. Some more specific talk maybe about PT after surgery since its been a pretty healthy topic as of recently on the boards. Basically what one should not do after ADR during recovery.

Just looking forward to finally getting to meet a few you.

Take care,

Bill
